Offhand Tendinitis, arthritis and joint pain have been increased due to the aging population, increased use of computer mice, incorrect postures, and repetitive tasks at work. Conventional door handles and knobs represent a big obstacle for anyone with difficulty of mobility on arms or hands, by forcing them to twist their wrists to open a door. Offhand is designed to open a door in one single movement, without twisting wrists. Offhand unlatches and pushes/pulls a door simultaneously. Without using electric motors, it allows to open a door with any body part, in case of dirty hands or fractured arms, simply by pushing/pulling the handle. Its simple and clean design complements modern architecture, unlike hospital or shopping mall levers.
